Synopsis:

The story follows a brain surgeon name Minakata Jin, who falls into a "time slip" that sends him back to Edo during the Bakumatsu era, the period that spelled the end of the shoguns' rule over Japan. There, Jin ends up using his 21st century medical expertise to help the people, who are suffering from various epidemic illness from the time, with the help of the modern medical knowledge of his era.
